We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location, nestled in a beautiful rural area near sprawling fields and in the forest, was absolutely stunning. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we particularly loved having access to a kitchen and a large living room. The cleanliness of the rooms, including the spacious bathroom with a bathtub and shower, was impeccable. The breakfast spread was delicious, with fresh croissants, homegrown strawberries, and flavorful coffee. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home.

The rooms at Le Cardonnet are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a family like ours. The private bathroom with a spa bath was a real treat after a long day of sightseeing. Having access to the common kitchen was a big plus, it allowed us to cook our own meals.
Personally, I found the shared kitchen a bit crowded at times.

Spa-like bathrooms: The private bathrooms at this guest house are truly something special. I had the pleasure of indulging in a relaxing soak in the spa bath after a long day of exploring. It was like having my very own personal oasis right in my room.
Limited map guidance: Although it's difficult to criticize this wonderful place, I would suggest providing a more detailed map with distances and key junctions to make it easier for guests, especially those who have trouble finding their way.

The value for money at Le Cardonnet was outstanding. The room was spacious, with comfy armchairs and a fantastic ensuite bathroom featuring a jacuzzi bath. The location was picturesque, with a charming duck pond and beautiful countryside. The staff, especially the owner M. Bouquet, were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and at home.
As for the breakfast option, it would have been nice to have a TV in the room to enjoy while having our morning meal.

I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in the countryside. The setting was incredibly peaceful, providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that along with my room, I had access to a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. I particularly enjoyed dining on the terrace outside, surrounded by the serene atmosphere. The jacuzzi bath was a major plus, especially after a tiring parkrun in Folkestone earlier in the day. The host was delightful, taking the time to show me their ecologically sound wood pellet boiler, which was very helpful as I am looking to install one myself. The breakfast provided was exceptional, with a generous spread that included delicious strawberries and a choice of baguette. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider returning if I visit the area again.
